Warning signs of diabetes: Women

Some years back diabetes was a disease that is seen in men in their mid age. But now we get to see more and more women suffering from diabetes at their early ages. The main reasons is that, they do not recognize the symptoms or not aware of their symptoms. Warning symptoms of diabetes in women include excessive thirst, frequent urination, weight gain and fatigue. These symptoms should be taken seriously before turning serious heath complications.
Early signs of diabetes in women
Diabetes occurs when the body fails to produce or use the insulin. There are three types of diabetes type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is mostly seen in young teenagers and children. It is the state where the body fails to produce the insulin. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body fails to use the insulin produced by the pancreas cells. This is the most common types see in majority of people. Gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy and the blood sugar levels come to normal stage after the delivery. Some of the early signs of diabetes in women are as following
• One of the most common and easy to identify symptoms in women is frequent urination. Even the women wake up from the sleep to go to bathroom. When women experiences frequent urination, then it’s better to visit the doctor.
• Blurry vision is another common symptom of diabetes in women. The high sugar levels effects the eyes and hence cause blurred vision.
• Urinary infections are also the diabetes symptoms in women. Due to the increased glucose levels in blood, it leads to urinary infections and yeast infections.
• Women often experience lack of interest in sex and decrease in natural lubricant. Virginal infections, vaginal dryness are other symptoms of diabetes in women.
These are some of the common signs of diabetes in women. It is better to see the doctor once they notice any of these symptoms as to rule of diabetes at early stages.
